Waterproofing

as a certified installer of the Schluter Waterproofing System, you can trust that your shower system is waterproofed against both liquid and vapor.

Tile and grout are not a waterproof material, and making sure your tile is installed on a completely waterproof and properly coupled surface is key to making sure your tile lasts a lifetime. Barrier Free / Age in Place Bathrooms

It's important to be able to maintain mobility in our bathrooms as we age, and our needs may change. 'Age in Place' bathrooms allow us to continue to stay in our homes while providing the functionality of barrier free environments that offer features like, curbless showers, grip bars, enough space to accommodate a walker or wheelchair, heated floors for comfort, and profiles to create caulk free shower seams so you never have to worry about mold build up or maintenance.

Floor Installation

whether its high traffic areas like a foyer, bathroom or mudroom that need waterproofing, or a living space, basement, or kitchen, we know flooring and can do it all with temperature controlled in-floor heating and smart programming if needed.

Kitchens are an excellent place to add tile for decoration and function. I love the work I do! It's funny to me, but before I graduated high school in 2000, I took a career test and the results were, "Brick Layer". I laughed, and thought, 'you've got to be kidding me, I'm an artist', threw the results away, didn't share it with anyone or think much of it for a while. but it made me laugh as life went on, because I consider my skills an artform, so my test wasn't far off.

while raising my two daughters in Duluth, I found satisfaction as a trade's worker. using my hands and mind together, focusing my attention on detailed and meticulous work. After working as a tradeswoman in various trades for almost 20 years, remodeling and rebuilding homes for others, I decided to start custom pro tiling in 2024 after my personal experience of having to rebuild my family's own home after a devastating housefire; after years of working on other people's homes, the feelings and life changes I experienced with the opportunity to design and create my own living spaces the way I wanted and needed brought a new personal and relatable passion to my work, tile became a huge part of the design and functionality of my spaces, and the value it brought to my home and myself made a huge positive impact on my life. I felt like I was on to something with specializing and focusing on tile.

I was inspired through experiencing what being able to customize your living space can do for your health, happiness and comfort. The environments we live in can positively or negatively influence and motivate us through life.

environments that we spend most of our time in influence our mood, mobility, and motivations. When we get to customize our spaces the way we want, with what we need for now and in the future, we take control of them and create peace more in our lives. I believe peace is foundational for our productivity, prosperity, and happiness. Tile has always been my favorite medium to work with in home remodeling. It requires patience, fine motor skills, problem solving, and it brings so much beauty, value, and durability to our living spaces. my personal experience ignited so much more meaning and purpose in my work again for me, so I decided to create custom Pro Tiling so I COULD SHARE MY SPECIALIEZD SKILLS AND TAILOR MY WORK FOCUS FOR THOSE WHO WANT HELP WITH CREATING THAT FEELING OF PEACE WITHIN THIER HOME THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL, DURABLE, AND VALUABLE MEDIUM OF TILE!
